Crochet Crossover Headband Pattern
What you’ll need:
- 5 mm hook
- Acrylic Yarn #4
- Darting needle for sewing in ends
- Scissors
1. Chain 60 (or however many it takes to wrap around your head without stretching, just make sure it’s in multiples of 4). Slip stitch to the first chain to form a circle, making sure not to twist the chain.
2. Chain 1, single crochet in each chain stitch. Slip stitch to the first single. (60 sc).
3. Chain 3 (does NOT count as a stitch here or throughout). Skip the first 2 stitches, treble crochet in the next 2, double crochet in the first skipped stitch and in the next (working in front of and around the treble crochets). Repeat between **-** all the way around **Skip 2, treble in the next 2, double crochet in the first skipped stitch and in the next** Your round will end with 2 double crochets. Slip stitch to the first stitch.
2. Chain 1, single crochet in each chain stitch. Slip stitch to the first single. (60 sc).
3. Chain 3 (does NOT count as a stitch here or throughout). Skip the first 2 stitches, treble crochet in the next 2, double crochet in the first skipped stitch and in the next (working in front of and around the treble crochets). Repeat between **-** all the way around **Skip 2, treble in the next 2, double crochet in the first skipped stitch and in the next** Your round will end with 2 double crochets. Slip stitch to the first stitch.
3. Repeat round 2 two more times.
Your treble crochets will be worked in the double crochets from the previous round and your double crochets will be worked in the treble crochets from the previous round.
5. Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch. Slip stitch to the first single crochet. Finish off.
Your treble crochets will be worked in the double crochets from the previous round and your double crochets will be worked in the treble crochets from the previous round.
5. Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch. Slip stitch to the first single crochet. Finish off.
